Beautiful Dangerous and Exotic Blue Ringed Octopus. Deadly Ocean Creature.

Today is aquarium cleaning day for one of my many tanks. As always I start by turning off all equipment and making sure all of my filters have nice and tight valves making sure no water is able to spill. I have several amazing creatures in my collection, one of them is a small but very dangerous blue ringed octopus. About the 2" inches fully expanded, this amazing little guy has the power and venom to kill a human with a single bite. Recognized to be one of the world's most venomous marine animals, these shy creatures are not so aggresive and are very active. Usually found near tide pools and coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, from Japan to Australia encountering one of these creatures in the wild is very rare.

One of this little guys favorite food is crabs, any sort of crab it'll stalk and hunt without any troubles. Using it's powerful venom to its advantage it can easy hunt and have any prey double it's size for diner. One important thing about housing a creature of this caliber is safety. Tank must but sealed and closed at all times as octopus are great escape artists and having a venomous creature crawling around is not good at all. For now enjoy the beautiful color transformation I was able to catch on video. See how it glides almost in an alien like way, its simply amazing and beautiful to watch.
